Seal!

Sábado agora foi o show do Seal no Rio. Muito bom! Mais um sonho realizado! Uma boate com show ao vivo! Músicas dançantes, com clássicos sensacionais como Crazy, Killer, The Beginning, Love's divine e Kiss from a rose. As músicas do novo CD System são bem legais (Amazing é a "música de trabalho"). Sempre de branco, o cantor filho de nigeriano com brasileira foi super simpático e não parou de interagir com a galera fosse dançando, tirando fotos para os neuróticos celulares ou conversando mesmo. Fechou o show com chave de ouro cantando My vision e Bring it on.

Destaque: o bateirista (que aparece na foto com luz vermelha). Uma perna dava o ritmo, uma mão ficava no chocalho e a outra com a baqueta revezando entre o prato e o resto da bateria. Um polvo com coordenação motora!

Last saturday Seal made a show here in Rio. Awesome! Another dream came true! A night club with live show! Dance musics in sensational classics as Crazy, Killer, The Beginning, Love's divine and Kiss from a rose. The musics from his new CD System are great too (Amazing is the "work song"). Always in white, the singer – son of a nigerian and a brazilian – was very receptive, dancing all the time, taking pictures on neurotic cell phones and chating with the crowd. He closed the show with My vision and Bring it on. Highlight: the drummer (in the red light photo). He was an octopus with an incredible coordination!

Ligre?

Já ouviram falar em Ligre? Com L mesmo? É o cruzamento de um leão com uma tigresa. É o maior felino conhecido, podendo atingir 4 metros de comprimento! Isso acontece porque o gene inibidor do crescimento vem das leoas ou dos tigres machos, logo, os ligres nascem sem esses genes e estéreis. Esse tipo de cria só acontece em cativeiro, uma vez que leões e tigres não costumam dividir o mesmo habitat. A Natureza é incrível. Será que a gente precisava interferir?

O prazer de viajar por algumas horas em uma sala escura está procurando novas formas de atrair mais cinéfilos. Os multiplex norte-americanos estão apostando em uma nova tendência: os cinebares. A idéia é simples: mesinha, cardápio e a oferta de bebidas alcóolicas e petiscos típicos de botecos. Na foto, um cinebar em Asheville, na Carolina do Norte. Será que a moda pegaria por aqui? Eu acho legal, mas tenho duas dúvidas: será que as pessoas iam querer ficar várias sessões seguidas? E o preço? Já está alto, será que ia chegar ao impossível?

The pleasure of travel for a few hours in a dark room are looking for new ways to attract more watchers. The North Americans multiplex are betting on a new trend: the cinebars. The idea is simple: a small table, a menu and the supply of alcoholic beverages and typical snacks. In the photo, a cinebar in Asheville, North Carolina. Would this fashion get here? I think it's cool, but I have two questions: how long would some people wanna stay there? And the price? It's already high, would it be impossible to reach?

Religião não traz paz

O novo papa está criando confusão com o mundo islâmico. Pacíficos monges tibetanos são protagonistas de violentas manifestações contra a China. Está claro que a religião não é uma saída para paz. E, se olharmos a história, perceberemos que nunca foi. Nunca foi porque sempre esteve pervertida por intenções corruptas.

Cada um tem sua crença. Qual a dificuldade de respeitar isso? Por que impor a religião de um povo sobre outro? Vou além: por que impor suas vontades sobre o outro utilizando a religião? Jesuítas e índios? Pizarro e os incas? Inquisição? E o que dizer do sincretismo feito pelos negros escravizados que não podiam rezar para seus deuses?

Pra polemizar: quem escreveu os livros religiosos que legislam a sociedade? Jesus? Maomé? Apóstolos? Ou homens que precisavam ordenar o mundo? E o que dizer das traduções desses livros? Será que as traduções foram feitas ao pé da letra ou foram feitas modificações para ficar de acordo com o desejado?

Quer mais polêmica? E o machismo? Alguma mulher escreveu nesses livros religiosos? Se escreveu, alguém escondeu ou não considerou, certo? E Maria Madalena e a linhagem do Senhor... alguém prova se isso é verdade ou não? Se viemos dos macacos, porque foi Eva que comeu a maçã? Burca e andar atrás e de cabeça baixa? Quem fez isso? Os tais homens que precisavam mudar o mundo...

RELIGION DOES NOT BRING PEACE
The new pope is messing with the Islamic world. Pacific Tibetan monks are protagonists of violent demonstrations against China. It is clear that religion is not a solution to peace. And if we look through history, we will see that never was, because has been always perverted by corrupt intentions. Everyone have a belief. What is the difficulty to respect this? Why impose a religion of a people over another? In addition: why impose their wills on the other using religion? Jesuits and Indians? Pizarro and the Incas? Inquisition? And what about the syncretism made by slaves that couldn't pray to their gods? Being polemic: who wrote the books that legislate the religious society? Jesus? Muhammad? Apostles? Or men who needed to order the world? And what about the translations of these books? Does the translations were made with the right words or modifications were made to be in accordance with the desired? Want more controversy? And the machism? Did any women wrote these religious books? If they did, someone hid them, right? And Mary Magdalene and the lineage of the Lord... will anyone proof this? If we came from monkeys, why has Eva eaten the apple? Burca, walk behind and head low? Who did this? The men who needed to order the world...
